font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong>\u201cThanksgiving\u201d in Buddhism has been present around <span style=\"background-color: #ffff00; color: #ff0000;\">2612<\/span> B.C., (<span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">624 B.C.\u201335<\/span> (the year of the Buddha&#8217;s enlightenment) <span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">= 589 + 2023 = <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2612<\/span><\/span>) <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">in the second week after the Buddha\u2019s full enlightenment<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya in India until today.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong>Indeed, when mentioning \u201cThanksgiving,\u201d we immediately think about duties and responsibilities for \u201cGratitude \u2013 Gratefulness,\u201d or \u201cThankfulness\u201d between next generation and previous generation, between living people and dead people, between givers and receivers, between transmitters and connectors, and vice versa, etc.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 200%;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Buddhism, the path of peace, enlightenment, awareness, and mindfulness, has many different types of &#8220;Gratitude or Thanksgiving&#8221; as follows:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1.<\/span> Gratitude to grandparents and parents for their nourishment and giving births to us. <\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2.<\/span> Gratitude to the Buddha, the wonderful Dharma, and the Sangha. <\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3.<\/span> Gratitude to secular and spiritual teachers for their education. <\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4.<\/span> Gratitude to friends and intellectuals. <\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 200%; color: #282828;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">5.<\/span> Gratitude to national heroes for their responsibilities to have founded and defended the country from ancient time until now;
