\nRespectfully pay homage to the wonderful Dharma of the Buddha, the path of practicing peace, joy, happiness, understanding, and love for the many right in the present life. Namo Dharmaya.<\/em><\/span>
\nRespectfully pay homage to the harmonious and peaceful Sangha of the Buddha, the Community of cultivated people who vow to live their lives of virtue, meditation, wisdom, deliverance, and deliverance with right understanding to benefit oneself and other people right here and right now in the present life. Praising the Buddha<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As wonderful as the lotus flower,<\/span>
\nAs bright as the northern star,<\/span>
\nLet us come back and take refuge in<\/span>
\nthe Teacher of gods and human beings.<\/span>
\nThe precious lotus blossoms on the enlightened pedestal,<\/span>
\nThe halo shines in all directions.<\/span>
\nWisdom is beyond the dharma realms,<\/span>
\nLoving-kindness and compassion permeate all the mountains and rivers.<\/span>
\nI have just seen the Buddha\u2019s perfect countenance,<\/span>
\nI respectfully offer the Buddha my whole sincere heart,<\/span>
\nI forward wholeheartedly to praise for the Noble Triple Gem.<\/span>
\nDiligence in the Dharma path is well cultivated.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe teacher has skillfully crossed to the shore of liberation, peace, joy, and happiness completely,

\nThe Teacher has the ability to train and teach living beings,
\nThe Teacher of both gods and human beings,
\nThe Teacher is the fully enlightened and awakened One,

Touching the earth to deep gratitude to the Buddha:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Wholeheartedly pay homage to Siddh\u0101rtha Gautama<\/em> Bodhisattva,<\/span>
\nstarting from Tusita<\/em> heaven,<\/span>
\nforeseeing a wholesome omen to holy Maya Queen,<\/span>
\nriding a white elephant with six tusks, <\/span>
\nentering into his mother\u2019s fetus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wholeheartedly pay homage to Siddh\u0101rtha Gautama<\/em> Bodhisattva, <\/span>
\nbeing born under an Ashoka<\/em> tree,<\/span>
\nbeing bathed by two currents of warm and cool water, <\/span>
\nstepping seven steps lifted out by seven lotuses,<\/span>
\nconfidently stating out that:<\/span>
\n\u201cThe Enlightened One is topmost.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

GATHA VESAK CHANTING<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
We, disciples today,<\/span><\/div>\n
meet the Vesak day<\/span><\/div>\n
with the joyful minds<\/span><\/div>\n
Bowing the head in respect.<\/span><\/div>\n
Ten directions and three lifetimes,<\/span><\/div>\n
The Tathagata, Trainer of People<\/span><\/div>\n
jointly with the holy and noble Sangha.<\/span><\/div>\n
We along with sentient beings of the dharma realm,<\/span><\/div>\n
owing to the lack of causes of goodness<\/span><\/div>\n
All are debauched by<\/span><\/div>\n
Greed, anger, and ego clinging,<\/span><\/div>\n
fully forgetting the way back,<\/span><\/div>\n
love of delusion and ignorance<\/span><\/div>\n
From within the six paths,<\/span><\/div>\n
Hundreds of afflictions,<\/span><\/div>\n
Karma of retribution is unlimited.<\/span><\/div>\n
Now thanks to the Buddha, Teacher of gods and humans,<\/span><\/div>\n
with the heart of generosity and compassion<\/span><\/div>\n
Not bearing to see a being lacking blessings,<\/span><\/div>\n
The heavy reincarnation of samsara,<\/span><\/div>\n
The thick and dark night,<\/span><\/div>\n
With the torch of wisdom shining brightly<\/span><\/div>\n
Vowing to save all beings.<\/span><\/div>\n
Using the Dharma as skillful means<\/span><\/div>\n
In Saha world the Buddha appears<\/span><\/div>\n
with the seed of birth in the Shakyamuni clan.<\/span><\/div>\n
Holy Maya Devi dreamt of a wholesome omen<\/span><\/div>\n
King Suddhodana<\/em> was blessed to give birth to a filial son.<\/span><\/div>\n
Thirty-two good signs,<\/span><\/div>\n
Twenty-nine years old,<\/span><\/div>\n
Extremely pure loving-kindness and compassion,<\/span><\/div>\n
The will to renounce the secular world is so strong,<\/span><\/div>\n
The throne is determined to keep away from<\/span><\/div>\n
To find the way to become a monk<\/span><\/div>\n
Six years of deep forest asceticism<\/span><\/div>\n
Seven weeks of stately meditation practice\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Obtaining the full Enlightenment,<\/span><\/div>\n
Conquering the devils<\/span><\/div>\n
The three realms all raise the voices to praise<\/span><\/div>\n
All things are thanks to the Buddha\u2019s grace for saving.<\/span><\/div>\n
We make the vow:<\/span><\/div>\n
To abandon the lust that causes suffering<\/span><\/div>\n
To learn to claim the virtues of lucidity,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
To bow and pray to the Buddha to testify.<\/span><\/div>\n
May the Buddha bless and support us with compassion:<\/span><\/div>\n
We along with the dharma realms of sentient beings,<\/span><\/div>\n
Quickly become the path and fruition of enlightenment.<\/span><\/div>\n

Taking seven steps of lotus blooming,<\/span><\/strong>
\nHis right index finger points up to the sky, and left index finger points down to the ground, the new-born baby Buddha clearly said that:<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe fully Awakened and Enlightened One is supreme<\/span><\/strong>
\nIn heaven and on earth, no one is more perfect than Him,<\/span><\/strong>
\nToday is the great celebration of Vesak Day …. We the disciples of Gautama Buddha together <\/span><\/strong>celebrate the gratitude to the sublime merit of Shakyamuni<\/em> Buddha, who founded Buddhism, the path of mindfulness, awareness, culture, equality, and peace honored and respected all over the world.<\/span><\/strong>
\nIn front of the auspicious blessing of the Triple Gem, we would like to pray for the world peace, good weather, favorable rainy wind to living things and living beings on earth. <\/span><\/strong>
\nEverywhere in rural and urban areas, all people know how to follow Buddhism, keep far away from evil, do good things, purify their minds.<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe peace messengers of Lord Tathagata<\/em>, monastic and lay Buddhists all over the global together learn, practice, and apply the Buddha Dharma into daily life to benefit oneself and other people right here and right now in the present life.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
