Dear Venerable Monks and Nuns,<\/span><\/em>
\nDear Lay Devotees<\/em>,<\/span>
\nThe year 2025 is truly a meaningful and special time for all children of the Buddha.<\/span>
\nAs Vesak season returns, monasteries, temples, and meditation centers across the country are solemnly organizing the Grand Celebration of the Threefold Vesak.<\/span>
\nIn that same spirit, the Nepal Buddhist Association is collaborating with us to host a grand Vesak celebration in the Capital City of Austin, Texas, on May 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.<\/span>
\nThis marks the first time the international Buddhist community will gather in Austin\u2019s capital to celebrate Vesak\u2014a rare and auspicious opportunity. Regardless of race, ethnicity, or tradition, this occasion stands as a historic milestone for the flourishing of Buddhism in the United States. We also hope that Vesak Day will one day be officially recognized as an International Holiday.<\/span>
\nWe respectfully invite all venerable monks and nuns, and lay devotees to join us in large numbers to honor this occasion and help spread the light of the Dhamma together.<\/span>
