In harmony with the law of impermanence, the Most Venerable Th\u00edch Ph\u00e1p Quang peacefully passed away at his Bodhi Hermitage (B\u1ed3-\u0111\u1ec1 Am) on January 21, 2026, at 3:38 a.m.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
At the age of 76, with 36 rains-retreats (Vassa)<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
The funeral services will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660<\/span>, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 3 and 4, 2026<\/span>.
\nThe Encoffining Ceremony<\/span> will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 3, 2026 <\/span>(corresponding to the 16th day of the 12th lunar month, Year of the Snake).
\nThe Cremation Procession Ceremony <\/span>will take place at 10:00 a.m. on February 4, 2026 <\/span>(corresponding to the 17th day of the 12th lunar month, Year of the Snake), at 5416 Parkcrest Dr, Austin, TX 78731<\/span>.
