Incense Offering<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As wonderful as the lotus flower,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

as bright as the northern star,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

let us come back and take refuge in<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

the Teacher of gods and human beings.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The precious lotus blossoms on the enlightened pedestal<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Recollection of Gratitude to the Dharma Jewels<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Dharma Jewels of the World-Honored One that have been well proclaimed by himself are very practical in the present,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

have value beyond time,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

have the ability to transform one\u2019s body and mind,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

have the ability to extinguish defilements of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, doubt, wrong view, etc.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Taking refuge in the Dharma, an intellectual one who can also cultivate oneself masters the Dharma,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

comes and sees,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

comes and hears,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

comes and understands,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

comes and learns<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

comes and practices,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

comes and enjoys the flowers and fruits of peaceful joy and deliverance right here and right now in the present life.(Bell)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Recollection of Gratitude to the Sangha Jewels<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Sangha Jewels of the World-Honored One mean the Community is going on the really good, true, honest, beautiful, and appropriate path; the Community following the Buddhadharma practices the Buddhadharma, and lives correctly with the Buddhadharma.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the noble Community, there are those who have attained and are attaining the holy fruition of the stream-enterer, the once-returner, the non-returner, \u00a0and that of Arahant, comprises four pairs and eight fruitions of holy people,[2]<\/a> accomplishes all aspects of ethics, meditation, wisdom, deliverance, and deliverance with right understanding.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This Community deserves to be taken refuge in, served, respected, honored, admired, and made offerings, is the field of merit good for everyone to sow and to plant.[3]<\/a> (Bell)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Recollection of Gratitude to the Dharma Precepts<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Dharma Precepts of the World-Honored One;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

the <\/b>Discipline<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/b>(<\/span>Vinaya<\/em>) -right mindfulness the Sanghabody has been receiving, practicing, spreading, and observing,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

are the perfect precepts body,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the never broken precepts body,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the never polluted precepts body,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the never spotted precepts body,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the never mingled precepts body,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the precepts body praised and admired by intellectuals,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the precepts body with the ability to protect freedom,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the precepts body leading us to fearlessness,<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the precepts body leading us to virtue, meditation, wisdom, deliverance, and deliverance with right understanding<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

are the precepts body leading us to peacefulness and happiness forever.[4]<\/a>(Bell)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Heart Sutra of Insight that Bring Us to the Other Shore <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Avalokiteshvara<\/em>, while practicing deeply with the insight that brings us to the other shore, suddenly discovered that all of the five Skandhas are equally empty. After this penetration, he overcame all ill-being. \u201cListen, Sariputra, this body itself is emptiness, and emptiness itself is this body. This body is not other than emptiness, and emptiness is not other than this body. The same is true of feelings, perceptions, mental formations, and consciousness.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Listen, Sariputra, all phenomena bear the mark of emptiness\u037e their true nature is the nature of no Birth no Death, no Being no Non-being, no Defilement no Immaculacy, no Increasing no Decreasing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That is why in emptiness, body, feelings, perceptions, mental formations and consciousness are not separate self-entities. The Eighteen Realms of Phenomena which are the six Sense Organs, the six Sense Objects, and the six kinds of Consciousness are also not separate self-entities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Twelve Links of Interdependent Arising and their extinction are also not separate self-entities. Ill-being, the Causes of Ill-being, the End of Ill-being, the Path, insight and attainment, are also not separate self-entities. Whoever can see this no longer needs anything to attain. (Bell)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bodhisattvas who practice the Insight that brings us to the other shore see no more obstacles in their mind, and because there\u00a0 are no more obstacles in their mind, they can overcome all fear, destroy all wrong perceptions and realize Perfect Nirvana.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All Buddhas in the past, present and future by practicing the insight that brings us to the other shore are all capable of attaining authentic and perfect enlightenment. Therefore, Sariputra, it should be known that the insight that brings us to the other shore is a Great Mantra, the most illuminating mantra, the highest mantra, a mantra beyond compare, the true wisdom that has the power to put an end to all kinds of suffering. Therefore, let us proclaim a mantra to praise the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGate, gate, p\u0101ragate, p\u0101rasamgate, bodhi, svaha<\/span>.<\/em>\u201d (3 times)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Gone, Gone, Well Gone, Gone to the other Shore, Got Enlightenment so happily.” (3 times,\u00a0<\/span>O)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Contemplation of Body, Mind, and Karma<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am of the nature to grow old, I cannot escape growing old;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am of the nature to have ill health, I cannot escape having ill health;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am of the nature to die, I cannot escape death;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All things are created and caused by my bodily action, verbal action, and mental action, I cannot let go of them, whether it is good karma or non good karma; Aware of\u00a0 this, good karma I continue upholding and developing; non good karma I try to recognize and transform;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All relatives, loved ones, and things I cherish today are of the nature to change. There is no way to escape being separated from them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

My actions are my only true belongings. I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.My actions are the ground on which I stand. (Bell)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Freedom of Body and Mind<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This body is not mine,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am not limited by this body,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am an infinite life,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I have never been born,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

and also have never died.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Look! Sea is wide and sky is high,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

densely innumerable stars.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All are together manifested in me<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

from the spiritual source of consciousness mind,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

from all lives I am free.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Birth and death are the gateway in and out,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

they are the hide-and-seek games.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Smile together with me.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Breathe together with me.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Wise people are dwelling in<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Steadiness and calmness.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Be diligent today<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Do not wait until tomorrow<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Health will get weaker<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You cannot practice.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Death comes to you suddenly<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You cannot know it in advance.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A person knows how to dwell in<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Both day and night in mindfulness<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Buddha calls him or her as<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The person knows to live alone.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
