The darkness of ignorance has been dispelled<\/span><\/div>\n
and the light of knowledge has arisen.<\/span><\/div>\n
I have finally realised the truth.<\/span><\/div>\n
I have attained supreme enlightenment.<\/span><\/div>\n
I am the Buddha.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

THE TEACHING<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
Listen friends, I have found the way<\/span><\/div>\n
to overcome old age, sickness and death.<\/span><\/div>\n
Let me teach you, and if you listen,<\/span><\/div>\n
learn and practice as I tell you,<\/span><\/div>\n
very soon you will know for yourselves,<\/span><\/div>\n
that what I say is true.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
All phenomena are dependent on<\/span><\/div>\n
conditions, cause and effect.<\/span><\/div>\n
Ignorance is the root of all evil<\/span><\/div>\n
and the cause of all suffering.<\/span><\/div>\n
When it is replaced with wisdom,<\/span><\/div>\n
one realises Nirvana.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Avoid all extremes, practice the middle path.<\/span><\/div>\n
The noble eight fold path, which consists of<\/span><\/div>\n
perfect understanding, perfect thought,<\/span><\/div>\n
perfect speech, perfect action,<\/span><\/div>\n
perfect livelihood, perfect effort,<\/span><\/div>\n
perfect mindfulness, perfect concentration.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Do no evil, do only good, train your mind,<\/span><\/div>\n
the teaching of the Buddha<\/span><\/div>\n
is the path to enlightenment.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
For the benefit of all, teach the Dharma,<\/span><\/div>\n
which is excellent in the beginning,<\/span><\/div>\n
in the middle and the end.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Although the Buddha passed away over 2,500 years ago, his timeless teachings continue to bring peace to humankind.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As long as the Buddha’s Dharma is in this world, those who practise it with sincerity can be known as genuine students of the Buddha, the supreme teacher.”<\/span><\/div>\n
