BIRTH SONG<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
After an extraordinary dream<\/span><\/div>\n
\n

It came to be<\/span><\/p>\n

The Queen had conceived<\/span><\/p>\n

And was with child<\/span><\/p>\n

All rejoiced in anticipation<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the coming royal birth<\/span><\/p>\n

Peace and love reigned throughout the nation<\/span><\/p>\n

Heaven and Earth<\/span><\/p>\n

So the Queen and attendants<\/span>
\n Began their journey to her childhood home<\/span>
\n As was the way in days gone by<\/span><\/p>\n

As they reached the gardens of Lumbini<\/span>
\n Filled with flowers and singing birds<\/span><\/p>\n

The moon was shining brightly, high in the sky<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing her time was near<\/span><\/p>\n

She said \u201cI can go on no more,<\/span><\/p>\n

Lay me down by the lake,<\/span><\/p>\n

To give birth by the shore\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

All rejoiced in anticipation<\/span><\/p>\n

As she leaned against a knowing tree<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prince was born in that moment<\/span><\/p>\n

Painlessly<\/span><\/p>\n

Heavenly music filled the air<\/span>
\n Heavenly flowers rained down upon the earth<\/span>
\n Rainbows appeared in the sky<\/span>
\n Peace was felt throughout the land<\/span>
\n The earth stood still with understanding<\/span>
\n And nature smiled<\/span><\/p>\n

Amazingly the child did stand<\/span>
\nTook seven steps<\/span>
\n With each appeared a lotus flower<\/span><\/p>\n

All rejoiced with realisation<\/span>
\n This was no ordinary child<\/span>
\n As he so boldly proclaimed<\/span><\/p>\n

This is my last birth<\/span>
\nI am the foremost in this world<\/span>
\n I will lead and guide you<\/span>
\n I am the highest<\/span>
\n Now there is no rebirth for me<\/span>
\n I will teach the truth<\/span><\/p>\n

It seemed all of nature knew<\/span>
\n The child born that day<\/span>
\nWould be the man to show the way<\/span>
\n To set us free<\/span><\/p>\n

So let us live with love and patience<\/span>
\n And understanding in all relations<\/span>
\n And as we reach out to each other<\/span>
\n Always remember the care of our mother<\/span>
\n Always remember the love of our mother<\/span>
\nWe owe our life to our mother<\/span>
\n Always respect love and care for our mother.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
