POEM OF REMEMBERING VU LAN \u2013 PARENTS\u2019 DAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dear respected Venerable Monks and Nuns,<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear Dharma Sisters and Brothers,<\/span><\/p>\n

I would like to read \u201cthe Poem of Remembering Vu Lan \u2013 Parents\u2019 Day<\/strong><\/span>\u201d composed by myself as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Today is Vu Lan Festival<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We respectfully offer Parents full of love<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Mother is like the lyrics of the homeland<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lulling little kids peacefully on the path of compassion<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Gentle mother in the peaceful spring light<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Gives her children a beautiful dream of immense love<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Takes care of them in harmonious days and months<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Brings them to school in their childhood memories.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Parents\u2019 kindness we are grateful to<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Looking after their sick children is never difficult<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To stay up late, get up early, and take medicine<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Parents hope their children will get well and ready to sacrifice themselves.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Trying to work hard and to do their best<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

giving children to go to school in love<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Parents who are strenuous and arduous<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

love their children to still impact the noble way for them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Father who always supports the spirit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Help children overcome all the times of suffering<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The mother who always is a miracle person<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Helps her children overcome anxiety and confusion.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The mother who lulls a peaceful sleep<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Gives children a peaceful day and month forever<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

gives them happiness and freedom<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

gives them to resound with the laughs of innocence.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Parents cultivate dreams<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Parents\u2019 kindness children worship in their hearts<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Father\u2019s love and mother\u2019s heart are deeply grateful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to remember to nourish the seeds of gratitude.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Vu Lan festival, we vow to be sincere<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Paying filial piety to our parents, we would like to repay<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The gentle mother is as beautiful as a lotus<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Praying for parents to have more peaceful days<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I would like to thank you all for your listening.<\/span><\/p>\n
