\u201cOn New Year\u2019s new day, Maitreya<\/em> was born<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

with his much good virtue and peaceful mind<\/span>,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

we who respectfully pay homage to him,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

pray peace for all over living beings.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The New Day gives life more fresh colors<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The old and young open their merry smiles<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All people and families that cultivate together<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Welcome the New Year with their peaceful minds<\/span>.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

We know that, in the first days of the new year, according to Vietnamese culture and tradition, Tet is a good opportunity for people to go to the Temple for paying homage to the Buddha at the beginning of the year, planting merit, cultivating the spiritual life, praying peace and happiness for families, schools, and society.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, in the United States, the New Year\u2019s Eve Celebration falls on a Monday, so that you can easily go to the Temple, we will hold a LUNAR NEW YEAR\u2019S EVE CELEBRATION<\/span> ON SUNDAY NIGHT, a program to celebrate T\u1ebft, the Lunar New Year of the Tiger 2022<\/span> at Ph\u00e1p Nh\u00e3n Temple<\/strong> will be organized as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday, on January 30th<\/sup> 2022, the Lunar New Year\u2019s Eve Celebration<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5:00 pm:\u00a0 Repentant Ceremony\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

6:00 pm: Ceremony of Welcoming the Happy Lunar New Year\u2019s Eve, wishing T\u1ebft for you, granting a New Year\u2019s lucky gift to you<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, the First Day of the Lunar New Year, February 1st<\/sup> 2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10:00 am: Ceremony of Celebrating Maitreya<\/em> Buddha Spring<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, the Second Day of the Lunar New Year, February 2nd<\/sup> 2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10:00 am: Ceremony of New Year Prayers<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday, the Third Day of the Lunar New Year, February 3rd<\/sup> 2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10:00 am: Chanting the Greatest Happiness Sutta<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

10:00 am: Opening Medicine Master Sutra and Dharma talk<\/span><\/p>\n
