His father is Mr. Nguy\u1ec5n L\u1ee3i, whose <em>Dharma <\/em>name is Thanh Ich and his mother is Mrs. Tr\u01b0\u01a1ng Th\u1ecb Ty, whose <em>Dharma <\/em>name is Tr\u1eebng X\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">In his family, there are six children: three sons and three daughters. In his family, his first elder brother Nguy\u1ec5n San had a good opportunity to follow the Buddha and become a Buddhist Monk, whose Dharma name is Tr\u1eebng San, Dharma Title is H\u1ea3i Tu\u1ec7 (1922-1991),<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 180%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8195\" src=\"https:\/\/phapnhan.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/2-202x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1064\" height=\"1581\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phapnhan.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/2-202x300.jpg 202w, https:\/\/phapnhan.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/2.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1064px) 100vw, 1064px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">a contemporarily famed Monk, being in charge of the Central Buddhist Institute of H\u1ea3i \u0110\u1ee9c, Nha Trang City, Kh\u00e1nh H\u00f2a Province before and after 1975. The third person in the family also had a good chance to follow the Buddha and a Buddhist Monk, whose Dharma Title is Th\u00edch Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: 160%;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Time of Renunciation, Cultivation, and Learning of the Most Venerable Th\u00edch Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">At the age of 8 \u2013 1935, little boy Nguy\u1ec5n Lang, leaving home for monastic life to become a young baby monk, a disciple of the Most Venerable Thero Th\u00edch Ch\u00e1nh K\u00fd, learned and practiced the Buddhadharma at Khanh Long Root Temple, Di\u00ean Kh\u00e1nh District, Kh\u00e1nh H\u00f2a Province under the guidance of the Most Venerable Thero Th\u00edch Ph\u1ed5 Hi\u1ec7n, Patriarch of founding Kh\u00e1nh Long Temple in Dien Khanh District and the Most Venerable Thero Th\u00edch Ch\u00e1nh K\u00fd during 9 years 1935-1947.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">At 17 years old, in 1944, young Monk Nguy\u1ec5n Lang finished studying the second grade in the French period, about the eleventh grade now. At 12 years old, in 1939, he was ordained as a novice monk. At 20 years old, 1947, he was ordained as a Bhiksu at Kh\u00e1nh Long Root Temple in Di\u00ean Kh\u00e1nh District transmitted the <em>Dharma <\/em>precepts by the Most Venerable Master Th\u00edch Ch\u00e1nh K\u00fd. From 20 years old to 80 years old, 1947-2007, Venerable Th\u00edch Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh was the Abbot of Linh Ngh\u0129a Temple in Di\u00ean Th\u1ea1nh Commune, Di\u00ean Kh\u00e1nh District, Kh\u00e1nh H\u00f2a Province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">1950-1953, for a period of three years, Venerable Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh learned and practiced the Buddhadharma at \u1ee8ng Quang Temple in Sai Gon City under the guidance of the Most Venerable Master Th\u00edch Thi\u1ec7n Hoa and Master Th\u00edch Thi\u1ec7n H\u00f2a. 1954-1956, for a period of two years, he learned and practiced the Buddhadharma at Kh\u00e1nh H\u01b0ng Temple in S\u00e0i G\u00f2n City under the guidance of the Most Venerable Master Ph\u00e1p lang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><strong>Time of cultivation, learning, Dharma Propagation, and talented Monks Trainings<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">In 1957, Venerable Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh, who came back to Linh Nghia Temple, held two Summer Retreats at the Linh Ngh\u0129a Temple in 1957 and 1959 under the guidance of the Elder <em>Sangha <\/em>and the presence of the Most Venerable Master Thich H\u01b0ng T\u1eeb, Master Th\u00edch Ch\u00e1nh K\u00fd, and Master Thich V\u0129nh Th\u1ecd. In 1976, Senior Venerable Th\u00edch Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh was selected as the Head of Ritual Board of Di\u00ean Kh\u00e1nh District. In 2002, Senior Venerable Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh was selected as the Deputy Head of ritual Board of Kh\u00e1nh H\u00f2a Province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">From 1976 until now, learning according to educational conduct and vow of the Patriarchs, taking care of propagating the <em>Dharma <\/em>and nurturing disciples, the Most Venerable Master Th\u00edch Nh\u01b0 T\u1ecbnh thinks that in order to be able to repay the Buddha\u2019s gratitude, only the careers of educating and training the virtuous and talented people are very practical works for those who have enough conditions to leave home for Buddhist life to study Buddhism, practice the Dharma, and to become Monks\/Nuns with the potentials to inherit the Dharma house in the present as well as in the future right here in this world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">The Most Venerable Master taught hundreds of lay disciples and many monastic disciples, such as Th\u00edch Tr\u1eebng T\u01b0\u1eddng, Th\u00edch Tr\u1eebng S\u1ef9, Th\u00edch Tr\u1eebng H\u00f2a Th\u00edch T\u00e2m L\u1ef1c, Th\u00edch T\u00e2m Cang, Th\u00edch T\u00e2m T\u00edn, etc. Among disciples of the Most Venerable Master, there are some people learning bachelor syllabus of Buddhist Studies, there are some people who graduated Bachelor of Buddhist Studies at home, and there are some people who graduated Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy, and Doctor of Philosophy in Buddhist Studies in India, the holy land \u2013 the origin of Buddhism, where the World-Honored One was born in the world nearly three years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><strong>Following the rule of impermanence, the Most Venerable Master renounced his physical body gently, passed away at Linh Ngh\u0129a Temple, Di\u00ean Th\u1ea1nh Commune, Di\u00ean Kh\u00e1nh District, Kh\u00e1nh H\u00f2a Province, Vietnam at 12:00 p.m. on the First Day of Lunar January of the Snake Year, that is,\u00a0 February 2, 2013, at the secular age of 87 and at the Dharma age of 66.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 180%; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">Before the time of his death, the Most Venerable Master had gathered his disciples and arranged for his greatest disciple, Senior Venerable Th\u00edch Tr\u1eebng T\u01b0\u1eddng, to directly take care and be in charge of the Linh Ngh\u0129a Root Temple since then until now well.
