Dear Dharma Sisters, Brothers, and everyone,
As we know meditation is a very valuable, effective, practical practice method that helps us live a life of mindfulness, awareness, joy, and happiness right here and right now in the present life. Applying and practicing meditation daily diligently, regularly, and assiduously, we can master our clear, peaceful, and relaxed bodies and minds. Indeed, meditation is a spiritual food that is very necessary for our daily lives including children and adults. Whether you are religious or non-religious people, you can learn, understand, and apply meditation practice in your daily lives to benefit your bodies and minds.
With the above meaning, Pháp Nhãn Temple will hold the Fall Retreat on October 13, 2024. Retreat program will take place as follows:
09:00 am: Welcome you to the Temple
09:30 am: Sitting meditation
10:00 am: Walking meditation
10:30 am: Chanting Sutras
11:00 am: Dharma talks
12:00 pm: Mindfulness lunch
12:30 pm: Walking meditation
01:00 pm: Taking a rest
02:00 pm: Wake up
02:30 pm: Total relaxation meditation
03:00 pm: Dharma discussion & meditation songs
04:00 pm: Closing.
Note: If convenient, please feel free to bring lunch with you to make offerings to the Sangha.
