POEM FOR THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE QUAN ÂM BODHISATTVA STATUE
Garland shines beneath skies so clear,
At Đạo Quang, compassion draws near.
A sacred project begins today,
As prayers for peace light up the way.
Guanyin hears the cries of pain,
Her boundless love brings peace again.
Monastics and lay devotees unite,
Their hearts with kindness shining bright.
Ten meters tall, the statue will rise,
A beacon of peace beneath the skies.
May every land know peace and light,
And all beings find joy and insight.
May the True Dharma brightly shine,
With wisdom and compassion divine.
May all beings be freed from pain,
And may the Dharma forever remain.
Finally, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of Đạo Quang Temple, we extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all the Venerable Monks and Nuns, lay Buddhist devotees, and distinguished guests.
We wish all the Venerable Monks and Nuns and everyone present lasting peace and happiness, success in all Buddhist endeavors, and boundless blessings and auspiciousness.
Namo Buddhaya. Namo Dharmaya. Namo Sanghaya.
