FUNERAL PROGRAM OF THE LATE MOST VENERABLE THÍCH PHÁP QUANG
In harmony with the law of impermanence, the Most Venerable Thích Pháp Quang peacefully passed away at his Bodhi Hermitage Hut (Bồ-đề Am) on January 21, 2026, at 3:38 a.m.
At the age of 76, with 36 rains-retreats (Vassa)
The funeral services will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 3 and 4, 2026.
The Austin Buddhist Community, together with representatives of the Dharma family and disciples, Pháp Nhãn Temple, respectfully inform the Sangha and the public, and sincerely request everyone’s participation in prayers.
