INVITATION LETTER OF ATTENDING BUDDHA’S BIRTHDAY
CELEBRATION 2566 ON SUNDAY, MAY 29, 2022
Dear Venerable Monastic People and Lay Buddhist Devotees,
We respectfully listen to the Buddha’s Birthday poem:
The Buddha having been present in life
Propagates the right Dharma to brighten in the human and heavenly realms.
Now the Four Assemblies in the presence
Jointly study and practice the Dharma, all regions become peaceful and happy.
We all know every year when the great Vesak festival returns to different places of the world, whether you are Buddhists or non-Buddhists, whether you are workers, officials, or teachers, etc. …, whether at the Temple or in the office, all of us share the same good thoughts and organize together to practice and study the Buddhadharma, and review the life of Sakyamuni Buddha to help us live a life of peace, joy, and happiness for the many right in the present life.
To celebrate this year’s Buddha’s Birthday, with the presence and witnesses of the Venerable Monks and Nuns, Pháp Nhãn Temple has enough good conditions to invite the Most Venerable, Senior Venerable Monks, Nuns, and lay Buddhist devotees to come to the Temple to attend this great event. We are very pleased to welcome you all to our Temple.

09:30am: Welcome you all to the Temple
10:00am: Celebrate Buddha’s Birthday Birthday (with its own program)
10:20am: Read Buddha’s Birthday Message
10:40am: Dharma talk on the Meaning of Buddha’s Birthday – The Most Venerable Master Thích Trí Đức
11:20am: Vesak chanting and new-born Buddha Bathing Ceremony
12:00pm: Make offerings to the Sangha and have an intimate lunch together
01:00pm: Singing offerings to Buddha’s Birthday
02:00pm: The Ceremony of Taking Refuges and transmitting Five Ethical Trainings[1]
03:00pm: Closing.
