Happy is the fourfold Assembly everywhere practicing the Buddha Dharma together.
Jointly joining the solemn, peaceful, and happy atmosphere of the Buddha’s children around the world, to celebrate and commemorate three important events of the Buddha’s life: The Birth, Enlightenment, and Nirvana of the Buddha, in Southern California, on Saturday and Sunday May 4-5, 2024, Vietnamese American United Buddhist Congregation will organize the Buddha’s Birthday at Garden Grove Park: 9301 Westminster Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92844.
It is a great honor for Senior Venerable Thích Thánh Minh to be appointed as Head of the Organizing Committee of this year’s Buddha’s Birthday.

Venerable Thường Tịnh, Brother Tịnh Nguyện, taking care of food and drinks for the Venerable Monastics and Organizing Committee on Saturday and Sunday.
9. Preparation Board of food and drinks:
Senior Venerable Nun Thiền Tuệ and lay Buddhists of Phổ Linh Buddhist Temple will prepare and distribute food to everyone all day Sunday.
10. Ceremonial Board:
The Most Venerable Thích Thông Quán, Ven. Thích Thánh Nam, Ven. Thích Châu Thiện, and Ven. Thích Đồng Thiện take care of the rituals during the two days of the Great Ceremony, prepare the necessary Buddhist tools for Vesak Day, and prepare Sutras to recite.
