At the invitation of Venerable Thích Trí Thuyên, Venerable Trừng Sỹ graciously took time to visit Tùng Lâm Linh Sơn and share the Buddha Dharma during this year’s Summer Retreat in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Tùng Lâm Linh Sơn Monastery in Rancon, France, founded by the late Most Venerable Thích Huyền Vi and currently led by Venerable Thích Trí Thuyên, is pleased to organize a Ten-Day Retreat, bringing together three significant Buddhist events:
Short-Term Renunciation Program – An opportunity to experience monastic life for a limited period, cultivate mindfulness and a disciplined way of living, nurture the aspiration for renunciation, and establish a wholesome connection with the Buddhist path of practice.
Celebration of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara’s Enlightenment – A solemn commemoration of the day Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara attained enlightenment, while inviting participants to cultivate compassionate listening, nurture loving-kindness and compassion, and aspire to alleviate suffering and benefit all beings.
Summer Retreat (An Cư Kiết Hạ) – A dedicated period for monastics and lay practitioners to deepen their Buddhist practice, discipline body and mind, cultivate mindfulness, and nurture spiritual growth during the traditional Buddhist Summer Retreat.
